Data Breach Response
This policy applies to the RTO Training Validation website and services, operated by RTO Training Resources Pty Ltd (ABN 17 631 073 213, ACN 631 073 213), part of the CAQA Groups family. Last reviewed: 18 July 2026.
Our plan
Suspected breaches are contained, assessed and recorded immediately on discovery. We assess likely serious harm within 72 hours wherever possible, consistent with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Notification
Where a breach is likely to result in serious harm, we notify affected individuals and the OAIC without undue delay, including what happened, what information was involved and what we recommend you do.
Client evidence
Student assessment evidence held for validation engagements is the highest-sensitivity data we handle; it is stored only for the engagement period, de-identified where practicable, and covered by this plan.
