Independent TAE validation

The one validation you are not allowed to run in-house. The Standards create the demand; this page publishes the spec and the price.

What we review

  • Assessment tools for each TAE unit in the cohort’s program, against the training product and the requirements set out in the instrument
  • A risk-banded sample of completed student assessments and the judgements made on them
  • Consistency of outcomes across assessors and delivery modes
  • Mapping, instructions, benchmarks and evidence rules as an assessment system, not tool by tool in isolation

What you receive

  • A written validation report per unit: findings, evidence sampled, judgement on consistency
  • Recommended actions ranked by risk, in plain language your assessors can act on
  • A completed validation record for your register, signed by the independent validator
  • An entry-ready summary for your next performance assessment file

Who does it

A validator who is independent of your RTO — not employed by you, not subcontracted by you. Credentialled to validate under the Credential Policy, current in training and assessment practice.

Price and turnaround

$1,950/cohort

Fixed fee per completing cohort, up to eight units of the TAE program and a risk-banded judgement sample. Larger multi-cohort rounds are priced per unit on the pricing page.

Turnaround: report delivered 10 working days after we receive tools and sampled evidence.

When it must happen

Once your first cohort completes, the clock is running. Validation of TAE products is not a five-year-window activity you can park: it is triggered by cohort completion and must be done by an independent party. Book before the cohort finishes and the report lands while the evidence is fresh.
